Salaam is Mashreq's loyalty programme that rewards you on your entire banking relationship with us. As our customer, you earn points when you spend using any of the Salaam eligible Mashreq Credit & Debit Cards, and on using all eligible Mashreq banking solutions.

Redemption of Points will be restricted in case of delay in payment and / or default on any Credit Card.
Forfeiture
All accumulated Salaam Points balance will be forfeited if you have not earned or redeemed any Salaam Points in last twelve (12) months.

- No registration is required. Your total Salaam balance is made up of two types of Points:
a) Salaam Points earning on purchases made on cards eligible for Salaam earnings b) Salaam Points earning based on your overall banking relationship with Mashreq.

To earn Relationship Points, you must have 2 or more products under the same Customer Identification Number (CIF) and also hold a valid Credit or Debit Card. - The Salaam Points which you see appearing on your Statement and also in Online & Mobile Banking are your cumulative total of Salaam Points earned through the Salaam Rewards Programme. These cumulative points can be used in whole or in part for redemption at any of the above channels.

- If you are using your Mashreq Novo Credit Card for purchase of movie tickets using your Salaam Points, you will be eligible for the 50% discount on movie tickets. For any other Card apart from Novo Credit Card, you will not be eligible for the 50% discounted movie tickets on using your Salaam Points to purchase the tickets. The discounted tickets purchased through Salaam Redemption will also be considered within the eligible discounted tickets per calendar month for the Novo Credit Card. Additional tickets purchased in the same month will be charged at the full price in your next Credit Card statement. Please note, effective from 2017, the Mashreq Novo Card no longer earns Salaam Points on purchases made using the Card.
